When you read the site

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits in aggregate: which stories are read, from which country and how readers arrive. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which shows heatmaps and anonymous recordings of how the page is used: where people click and how far they scroll. Clarity masks what you type into forms. Neither tool is used to identify you.

Both store cookies in your browser: the Analytics ones start with _ga and the Clarity ones are named _clck and _clsk. You can delete or block them in your browser settings and the site keeps working the same.

When you join the newsletter

We store your email address, the approximate country of the connection, the sign-up date and the page you signed up from. We use them only to send you the newsletter. The list lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure, the internal notice of each sign-up reaches us through Web3Forms and the emails are sent with Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

When you write to us

The contact form sends your name, email and message to our inbox through Web3Forms. We use that data only to reply.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. We never ask for a phone number, ID or payment details.

Your rights

To request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, reply to any of our emails or write to us through the contact page.
